Hagai Arbel is an expert ASIC verification architect and strategist, with over 15 years of solid experience in managing complex design and verification projects. Hagai has led some of Israel’s most innovative semiconductors verification success stories in the mobile, telecommunications, data networking, video processing, and wireless industries.
As CEO of Vtool, Hagai invented, defined, and is currently leading the revolutionary Vtool UVM verification product. Mr. Hagai is also the Founder and Executive Chairman of Veriest, a rapidly growing design house headquartered in Israel, with R&D offices in Belgrade.

Apart from his rich technological knowhow, Ariel is a master artist in hard woods and soft metal alloys.
Strong object-oriented programming background allowed him a smooth transition to functional verification role using UVM methodology. His papers covering UVM Register Abstraction Layer topics have been accepted for DVCon US and DVCon Europe conferences. Graduated with B. Sc. in Electronics at University of Belgrade.
